When disaster strikes, having a trusted team by your side can make all the difference. For a homeowner in Fishhawk, a faulty appliance caused a kitchen flood, leading to an unexpected and urgent need for a complete remodel. Overwhelmed by the stress of insurance claims and repairs, the homeowner turned to a familiar name: AGS Stone, a leader in kitchen cabinets in Tampa and countertops in Tampa FL.
Having worked with AGS Stone on a previous countertop project, the homeowner knew they could rely on the company’s professionalism, expertise, and customer-first approach. This is their story—one that highlights how AGS Stone’s dedication, from product selection to flawless installation, made all the difference for homeowners seeking “cabinets near me” and “quartz countertops near me.”
From Crisis to Opportunity: How a Flood Sparked a Stunning Remodel
A malfunctioning appliance turned into every homeowner’s nightmare: water damage that rendered the kitchen unusable. While the insurance company provided a licensed contractor to handle structural repairs, the homeowner needed to source critical kitchen elements like custom cabinets in Tampa, countertops Tampa FL, and tile.
“After such a stressful event, we needed this process to be as smooth and straightforward as possible,” the homeowner shared. “Having worked with AGS Stone before, we knew they would deliver.”
The homeowner turned to Christine, AGS Stone’s product specialist, to guide them through the overwhelming process of selecting materials and creating a cohesive design. Christine’s ability to balance style, function, and budget proved invaluable.
Cabinets: Custom Solutions Tailored to Perfection
The homeowner’s top priority was finding the right kitchen cabinets Tampa—an elegant, stained design with custom details that would maximize their kitchen’s layout. With Christine’s guidance, they explored various options, from finishes to configurations, and found a solution that was both practical and visually stunning.
“Christine really took the time to listen to what we wanted,” the homeowner explained. “We weren’t sure what was possible within our space, but she walked us through every option.”
To ensure the perfect fit, AGS Stone’s General Manager, Roland, conducted a detailed laser measurement of the kitchen. This high level of precision allowed the team to create an accurate rendering of the design. The homeowner described the rendering as a game-changer:
“Seeing the 3D rendering made everything so real. It gave us the confidence to move forward with the design and make informed decisions about details we hadn’t even considered before.”
The result was a custom cabinet solution that seamlessly blended functionality with elegance, making AGS Stone the go-to choice for “cabinet installers near me.”
Countertops: Quartz That Ties It All Together
Countertops are often the centerpiece of a kitchen, and for this project, the homeowner fell in love with Misterio Gold Quartz from Pompeii. This luxurious quartz design brought warmth and sophistication to the space while offering durability and ease of maintenance—a perfect choice for a busy household looking for quartz countertops near me.
Christine played a key role in helping the homeowner choose the quartz material, balancing budget and style preferences. Not only was the stone stunning, but AGS Stone also provided one of the most competitive quotes they received for countertops Tampa FL.
“We were blown away by the value AGS Stone offered,” the homeowner said. “It was clear that they were delivering top-quality materials without any hidden costs.”
Tile: The Finishing Touch
To complete the design, Christine helped the homeowner select porcelain floor tile from Tesoro that complemented the custom cabinets in Tampa and quartz countertops. Her expertise as a product specialist ensured that the tile tied all the elements together, creating a cohesive look that felt warm and inviting.
“Christine made the tile selection process so easy. She showed us options that worked perfectly with the overall design, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.”
Installation Excellence: A Stress-Free Experience
One of the most challenging aspects of any remodel is the installation process, but AGS Stone made it seamless. The team worked closely with the contractor assigned by the insurance company, ensuring that every step of the project was completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Cabinets: AGS Stone’s installers caught a damaged cabinet before installation, proactively working with the manufacturer to replace it without delaying the project.
- Countertops: The quartz was installed with flawless precision by Juan, AGS Stone’s lead installer. “Juan was an absolute joy to work with,” the homeowner noted. “His attention to detail was incredible.”
- Coordination: AGS Stone’s team went above and beyond to coordinate with the contractor, ensuring that every element of the remodel fit together perfectly.
The homeowner was thrilled with the outcome:
“We couldn’t believe how stress-free the entire process was. AGS Stone truly worked as a team, handling everything from start to finish with professionalism and care.”
The Result: A Stunning Fishhawk Kitchen
The finished kitchen was nothing short of breathtaking. Custom cabinets in Tampa, Misterio Gold quartz countertops, and carefully chosen tiles created a space that was both functional and beautiful. What began as an overwhelming insurance claim turned into an opportunity to design the homeowner’s dream kitchen.
The homeowner summed up their experience:
“AGS Stone didn’t just help us rebuild our kitchen—they helped us create a space that we love. From Christine’s product expertise to Roland’s precision measurements and Juan’s flawless installation, every member of the team exceeded our expectations.”
